Southwestern WI Region Profile

Vernon County has many winding road such as the Great River Road. Another fun thing to do here is navigating the Mississippi by houseboat, fishing in Timber Coulee, exploring Wildcat State Park or visiting the Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center, and eagle watching at Blackhawk Park.

 Grant County has  more trout streams than any other Wisconsin county and happens to be an outdoors person's paradise. It has  excellent fishing, hunting, various trails,  bird watching, and water sports. Don’t miss the Catfish Festival or a chance to try the locally grown popcorn.
