Sunshine Beach—Eagle’s Nest 3—Soudan, MN—Map

St. Louis County Planning and Zoning board recommended approval for this development on Feb. 8, 2007.

Sunshine Beach is a proposed 3 lot development located on the southern edge of Eagle’s Nest Lake in the Eagle’s Nest Township, St. Louis County. The three proposed lakeshore lots are fairly similar in size and dimension, ranging from 1-2 acres with lake frontage between 207 and 281 feet. The western and easternmost lake lots (Lots 1 and 3) are covered with a significant portion of wetland causing the zoning commission some concern over the environmental impact of building on these lake lots. Because of the wetlands in the surrounding lake lots, Lot 2 has irregular borders to ensure that those zones are protected.
